Gratitude is the positive emotion of feeling appreciative and thankful. On a very deep level, gratitude fosters feelings of general well-being. It can also be viewed as a mind-set that can be cultivated or developed. Yet, how many people are truly grateful for their lives and their accomplishments? Better yet, how many people are grateful for what they have, even if it includes something other than their dream home, career, sports car, or relationship? Feeling grateful for what you have at the present moment, whether your life consists of something you want or do not want, is extremely important to ultimately creating the life you want to live. Being grateful for what you have will bring you more for which to be grateful—and when you are grateful, you are on purpose with your life’s mission.
